Clothing Swap

2020 and 2021 have been rough to say the least. As we get back into the swing of things, we were thinking of events that both served our clientele and our community and at the request of one of our Work and Woof family, we are hosting a clothing swap, Fall/Winter Edition!

Our clothing swap is designed to be a more ethical and sustainable way to exchange clothing in good condition with neighbors and friends alike! Bring clothes, leave with clothes, one person’s cast aside wardrobe is another person’s treasure!

This clothing swap is for men and women and includes Fall/Winter clothing AND accessories (belts, scarves). Depending on the success of this event we will be adding more events in the future! Please note, it is possible this event will be full of women’s clothing, depending on how many men sign up but ALL ARE WELCOME!

The Fall/Winter Clothing Swap will be held at Work and Woof, Saturday, November 6th from 3:00pm-6:00pm!

There is limited space for this event, so get your tickets while they last, and please RSVP after you have read these instructions:

  1. Bring clothes and accessories that you no longer want - 3 to 12 items and please see the notes about quality below.

  2. Please bring quality, well-maintained items (no stains, pilling, broken items etc) - things that you yourself would want to recieve if the item was new to you. We WILL be collecting left over items for donation if things don’t get picked back up by the original owner.

  3. Please bring a bag to shop with and clothing that is easy to change in and out of!

  4. We will have 2 gender neutral bathrooms and 4 dressing rooms with mirrors to use as well!

  5. You have the option to drop clothes off BEFORE the event on Saturday, Nov 6th or you can arrive 45 minutes ahead of time to lay everything out and have it organized. Please be ready to shop as you arrive if you’ve dropped off your clothing ahead of time!

  6. There is NO limit on what you can leave with but please be conscious of your fellow shoppers.

  7. Light snacks and drinks will be provided during the event!

  8. This event will be NO Children and NO dogs.

Final Notes about the event:

  • There is a $10 fee for this event, this is to cover operating costs for Work and Woof and to ensure an accurate headcount. We will be donating a portion of the ticket $ to a local organization.

  • If you would like to attend the event as a volunteer, please let us know! I will need roughly 5 volunteers and there are great perks like: early shopping, no entry fee and a FREE day of daycare as a Thank You!
